THE REFORMATION OF THE ST ALBANS MAFIA
(Just Kidding!)

Many, many moons ago there were two single guys and a married couple, hailing from towns in the English county of Hertforshire. The biggest of these was the cathedral city of St Albans.

All of us were lovers of jazz and we all were searchers, looking for access to the spiritual aspect of life. We didn't find it ... it found us, in the form of an inner movement called Subud (Susila Budhi Dharma) not based on any theory or philosophy but only on actual experience. And thus we were drawn closer together.

Two of us were interested in philosophy, two were language people who loved words, poetry, and prose and two were very talented in the visual arts. Because of our inner connection and outer efforts we never lost contact, despite life taking us to different locations.

Each of us received wonderful cards every Christmas and New Year from  the two talented artists and designers. In the days before computer programs took over, these cards were lovingly created by hand,.. yes, each individual card.

It came to Robiyan recently to use the same root name and great logo created by Marcus when they made and developed a creative agency together quite some years ago. This year it came to him that the wonderful cards created by Marcus and Hannah should not sit in a dusty archive after only one use.

The outcome is what you see here.

Time is short so we could only offer the cards you see here for now. Some are only for Christmas, while others are suitable for New Year and other events. More will be added in the future.

For me, Robiyan, it is a privilege and a labour of love to offer you these unique creations on this site. I hope you will be as impressed as I am by the quality of the ideas and artistry in these creations and will want to send them to your loved ones, friends and colleagues.
